Images of the English Medieval Cathedral and City
Information for  Users

Images of the English Medieval Cathedral and City contains, primarily, images related to the study of Anglo-Saxon and Middle English literature, history, culture, art, and archaeology. Nearly all were taken by Susan K. Hagen, Ph. D. from 1978 to date. The earliest images are scans of slides done at 300 dpi. More recent images were taken directly with a digital camera.

Descriptions load quickly, but the apparent thumb nails load slowly (since they are the full image file). You can click on an image block even before the "thumbnail" loads to get the full image. Image size varies somewhat depending on the original instructional rationale I had for including it in the collection.

There are some other images included in the collection that relate to the teaching of British literature, such as images of Bloomsbury or of the Lake District.
